Audi 50 Introduction

The Audi 50 was a supermini and a conceptual model produced from 1974 to 1978 by German carmaker Audi and sold just on transcontinental Europe. The vehicle has a three door hatchback with a 1093 cc petrol locomotive which generate 50 PS i.e. (37 kW or 49 horsepower) for the LS models and 60 PS i.e. (44 kW or 58 horsepower) for the GL models.

This model was so famous in Europe for both its last stipulation for an automobile of that second and the comparatively first price it was sold at. In 1975 the automobile was rebadged by Volkswagen and sold as the Volkswagen Polo.

For the three years both the models were sold alongside but the Volkswagen group outsold Audi 50 cheaply and in 1978 Audi stopped production of 50 after a full product of 180,000 units, with the Polo chain keeping through many generations to the existing daytime.
