Audi A3 Transmission
Depending on the model and trim level Audi A3 is offered with an option of four transmissions. There is common 6 speed or 5 speed manual transmission collectively with a 6 speed semi automatic S Tronich. It claims that it achieve train changes only in 0.2 seconds by consumption of electro-hydraulically controlled grip.

In 2007 Audi A3 is available in two different trims, one is 2.0 T equipped with 2.0 L 200 hp I-4 engine and other is 3.2 S. equipped with a 3.2 L 250 hp V6. The common transmissions for 2.0 is a 6-speed manual with overdrive and for 3.2 is a 6-speed Tiptronic auto-shift transmission.
