Audi S2 Aerodynamics
Brakes:
The biggest critique that most mass have about the UR Quattro and the S2 is the brakes. They make good plenty for natural route exercise when right kept, but stopping operation is non just awe-inspiring on either automobile. The job is exacerbated on the S2 by it's increased weighting.
Anti-Lock Braking System:
The Bosch manufactured Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) fitted as measure to the S2 is the one as that fitted to infinite new 80/90 Quattro's. In fact, there are two variants of the ABS structure that appeared on the S2. The organization fitted to other cars (MY91 - MY93) is well spotted by the ABS exchange on the dashboard that can be used to get the organization on and away.
These other ABS controllers do non have any on-board diagnostic (OBD) capacity. Later cars from (MY94 onwards) have a more intelligent ABS control that does back OBD for break coverage and structure diagnosing. On the out position, the ABS offset shift was deleted from the late controllers to keep the driver from disabling the structure.
Wheels and tyres:
There were two styles of bike fitted by the mill to the S2. The new 5-spoke plan (photos to be) looks a less dated immediately. This was fitted to the 3B engined Coupes. Some really other Avants (with the required ABY locomotive) too had the 5-spoke bike, so its bazaar to don that some of the early ABY engined Coupes may too have had them fitted in the mill.
These would be other MY93 models with a 'P' in the VIN. The large bulk of ABY engined cars left the gates at Ingolstadt fitted with the deliciously styled 'Avus' 6-spoke metal which even search better 10 days on.
