Audi S2 Transmission
The 5-speed 01A corner, fitted to the 3B engined S2, is the one corner as fitted to non turbo 20V (7A or NM engines. It's a best sufficient corner but it is formally but rated at 310Nm though it can care more torque if you require. Obviously seniority in a bad driven 01A corner with a modified locomotive could be a take. Next upward came the 6 velocity 01E (CGR) as fitted to the ABY engined cars.
This is rated for 450Nm and is an often stronger corner than the 01A. I know of some tuned ABY engines driving 550Nm thru these boxes without accounted problems. The other variants of the CGR had a human end on 1st train but that was made middle MY94 and the CRB corner on the RS2 is very to the past made CGR.
Some drivers were not like the lazier change on the 01E corner - it has a really certain look, but it won't be hurried. Some owners are just 'short-shift' kits to the train linkages on 01E models to weaken that. The future 016, all 01A and all 01E boxes are fitted with the today known Torsen heart differential - really then are all even Audi quattros since it was introduced.
The VW sent A3 and TT work an other heart diff structure seed Haldex but that's another floor. The creative 'torque sensing' differential is a curiosity of automatic technology that allows the torque to be part placed on the hold free at each last of the automobile.
In natural conditions, the Torsen provides a 50:50 torque part but in the result of red of grip at the first wheels, torque is shifted to the can (and vice versa. It is this conversion from 50:50 part to a maximum prejudice of 70:30 either course that makes the Torsen equipped cars quite hard to get thru an under steer site to one of manageable modern oversteer by using the throttle pedal.
