Audi UrS4/S6 Introduction

The Audi UrS4 and Audi UrS6 were the first models of the Audi S4 and S6 automobiles. The UrS4 was produced from 1992 to 1994 while the UrS6 was produced from 1995 to 1997. They both had a 227 horsepower 2.2 l, 5-cylinder locomotive with turbo charging and an intercooler, with a torque of 258 foot-pounds.

In Europe, V8-powered versions of both S4 and S6 were free. The S4 edition sported a 280hp locomotive; the S6 had an upgraded locomotive "AEC" with 290hp.

The "Ur" prefix is used in the German word to mean new after an old metropolis of the one figure and is used by automobile enthusiasts worldwide to name to the new Audi Quattro that was produced from 1980 - 1991, the "UR-Quattro.

The exercise of the condition has today been offered to the new S4 and S6 vehicles, to separate them from advanced models with the very figure. The "S" prefix letter has signified Audi's superior product models since the other 1990s.

The S4 was the superior variant of the Audi 100 bar, and was known earlier as the Audi 100 S4. It had a 20-valve, 5-cylinder turbocharged locomotive and Quattro standing four rack driving, providing great road holding in all weathers.

Befitting its position at the side of the Audi 100 serial, it was high named and had as basic a set of equipment that was elective on little models. The automobile was free in sedan and place wagon versions; the latter named an Avant by Audi.
